Môn Pods are at Gweirglodd Bach - a smallholding in Penmynydd on Anglesey. We have lived here as a family for over 28 years. The views towards the Snowdonia Range ( Carneddau, Tryfan, Glyder Fach, Glyder Fawr) are spectacular. Many visitors to Gweirglodd Bach have commented on how lucky we are to have such views.
Staying in one of our pods will provide you with the opportunity to enjoy the panorama. You can watch the sun rise over the Carneddau whilst sitting on the decking in front of the pod, or on the sofa inside; or even lying in the double bed!
As our site is a small one, you can stay in one of four well equipped luxury glamping pods and enjoy a peaceful stay on Anglesey. The car park is nearby with a slate covered path leading to each pod.
On our smallholding you can experience the lambing period in early spring. The pure Suffolk sheep and Scotch Mules can be seen grazing around the pods. Lambs gamboling in Spring is a joy to watch.
The free range hens will provide you with eggs for breakfast. And finally, the friendly Angora goats which are kept for their mohair.
Come and stay at a conveniently based glamping site on Anglesey, less than four miles from the Menai Straits. The array of activities on Anglesey and across on the mainland is never ending. We are relevant to walkers and bikers, with the beaches and mountains only a stone throw away. There are plenty of high quality places to eat, within a few miles from Môn Pods.
Our site is convenient to visitors; less than four miles from the Britannia Bridge, Menai Bridge and the A55.
The area is full of various attractions. Here is a short list of the main attractions and their distances from Môn Pods.
“The views of Snowdonia behind the Menai Strait is a delight, but RibRide is spicing it up with trips aboard a 900 hp inflatable boat that hits 80 mph in 30 seconds- which is why you’re kitted out in waterproofs and goggles”
“Anglesey alone is home to the innovative Marram Grass, the Michelin starred Sosban & the Old Butchers, a Dylan’s a waterfront seafood joint”.
